At Acumen Residential Services, care begins with home. As a Maryland-licensed nonprofit, we provide compassionate, person-centered residential services for adults with disabilities. We foster dignity, independence, and true belonging through meaningful community inclusion and our unique family-centered approach, because every person deserves not just support, but a place where they feel safe, respected, and truly at home.

What We Do
Residential & Community Living Supports

Day Programs

Personal Support
Acumen provides non-skilled residential and community-based supports designed to promote independence, safety, and quality of life. We do not provide skilled nursing, medical, or clinical services.
All services are delivered in accordance with individualized service plans and applicable Medicaid waiver requirements.
Respite Care
Temporary relief for caregivers while ensuring individuals receive consistent, respectful support.
Medicaid Waiver Services
Person-centered services delivered in alignment with approved waiver programs and individualized plans.
